Hello! I am finally opening up commissions yay!! Not sure how many slots I'm opening up but I'm planning to take as many as I can to save up. This is the first time that I'm doing commission >< so thank you in advance for commissioning me!

Extra Characters 

• Each character will be half of base price. For example if you are going for a bust-up simple shading with base price of $10, each additional character will cost $5. Therefore, with 3 characters in the piece, it will add up to a total of $20

Backgrounds

Since this is a character commission, I will be focusing more on the characters instead of the background so I will do simple backgrounds only, which may include:

• Gradients
• Patterns
• Flat
• Transparent

There are no charges for background but do specify what type you want!

Final Product

I will note the commission via sta.sh or email you a dropbox link to the final product so you can download it without any quality change

• Drawn on Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 with Wacom Intuos
• File format: 300 dpi png file, you can keep the psd file is you want
  
• Dimension: Small Print size (Landscape/Portrait) (28cm x 43cm)
  
• Time for completion: few days to 2 months (average about 1-2weeks)
• My drawing process: Sketch - Line Cleanup - Base Colour - Render

Agreement

• My goal is to make the commission a pleasant experience for both of us so do feel free to talk to me openly about the character and how you'd want the piece to turn out. On my side, I will do my best to complete the work but I would like to request for respect and patience.
• I retain the right to turn down a commission I'm uncomfortable with.
• I will be uploading the commission on my gallery at a lower res
• I understand that my style may be inconsistent, if there is a specific style you want me to do (from my gallery), feel free to point it out.
• The artwork is yours for you to use in whatever non-commercial ways you want, as long as there's no profit. Monetization from YouTube etc is fine by me, however, I'd appreciate that you credit me by linking to my social media.
• I'd prefer picture references for more accurate referencing but text is fine as well.
• I won't draw mecha, heavily muscular body, furry, anthro and anything NSFW.
• I can draw humans, OCs, Fanart, and more but complex poses may be a bit difficult for me.
• I will only start sketching after you pay in full.
• No refunds after payment.
• The currency for the prices are all in USD and I'm using the basic conversion rate of 1 USD to 80 points.
• If I have not completed your piece in a month, please contact me about it.

Okay I don't actually use journals but I think I'll use it now to update some stuff that's been going on -


1) Update my name
I've been planning to change my internet alias for awhile now and I've changed my name on other platforms from exotic-tofu to zaelhyl. But DA won't let me change it since I'm not a core member and I don't want to create a new account either >< So I'll be leaving the name on DA as it is for now. The reason for this is mainly because, I feel more comfortable when people call me by my own name, Hazel. zaelhyl is just a scrambled form of my name. Not only that, I realised that my old name, exotic-tofu, wasn't a name I was proud of. Now that I'm in an art course, there were times when I had to show my art works but I didn't feel proud of showing off the name. (I thought of it when I was super young so yeah kinda cringey to me now hehe)

2) Opening accounts on other platforms
Next thing, I've been thinking a lot about how I can have an online presence as an artist on a platform that allows for me to updates my followers regularly on happenings without being too formal so I can be open about my thoughts and stuff like that haha if that made sense. I've decided to open up a Twitter account! Woo! I will still be posting on my Instagram and Deviantart but I think I'll be the most active on Twitter from now on because of its versatility
Also, my school made me create my own website =.=' as a portfolio so I'll put up the link for that as well for those interested!

3) Commissions
I've been pretty down lately because I just lost A LOT of my savings because of an internet scam (sucks ugh). So I'm planning to open up commissions very very very soon, especially since my two months long holiday kinda just started. It'll probably be character commissions. I'll post another journal with everything as soon as I'm done prepping the info and stuff then I'll be all set! Hope you'll support me :]
